Who comes to see us
Most people who walk in have had burning, numbness, tingling or shooting pain in their feet or hands for years, and have already been told to live with it or to take something for it. Some have diabetic neuropathy, some have nerve damage from chemotherapy or surgery, and for some nobody has ever named a cause. The assessment is the same either way: find out where the damage is before deciding what, if anything, can be done about it.
Which one should I go to?
Whichever is closer. The equipment, the providers and the assessment are the same at both, and your records follow you between them. The only difference is which days they are open.
What is offered at both offices
- Focused shockwave therapy for peripheral neuropathy and nerve pain
- Laser and red light therapy
- Electrical nerve stimulation to support nerve repair
- Treatment for joint and muscle pain
- A physician-supervised assessment before any treatment plan is set
What happens at a first visit
The first visit is an assessment, not a treatment. We test where the nerve damage is and how far it has gone, go through your history and what has already been tried, and look at what else could be driving the symptoms. Only then does anyone talk about a plan.
Care at this practice is delivered under Raul Rodriguez, MD, our Medical Director. Nothing on this page is a diagnosis or a promise of a result. Whether these treatments can help you is a clinical question, answered in person, and some people are not candidates.
Treatment here is non-invasive. There is no surgery and no injection, and you drive yourself home afterwards.
